A Passage Across the North
Arctic Ambitions is a traveling exhibition designed for the Anchorage Museum and the Washington State History Museum. It focuses on Cook’s third voyage – the search for the fabled Northwest Passage – a highly desirable maritime trade route through the Arctic.
The exhibition reveals new understanding of Cook’s remarkable endeavor, and also invites visitors to explore the North today as well as the forces that will affect its future.
