Transforming the West
This unique traveling exhibition was designed to complement the book of the same name. Storyline Studio worked closely with the authors to devise an exhibition that portrays how the railroads transformed the American West. A design vocabulary was developed from built elements of the railroad such as water towers and bridge trestles. To portray the key concept of continuous transformation, an iconic central tower holds a rotating panorama, to watch the Western landscape literally transform before your eyes.
