Holden in 100
Holden Village is an extraordinary place – a remote Lutheran retreat deep in the Cascade Mountains located in the buildings of an old mining community. Storyline is designing a museum exhibition telling the story of Holden Village. The presentation is an installation of 100 objects that help illustrate a timeline from Holden’s origins to the present day.
The story of Holden mine is revealed in an outdoor, solar-powered exhibition with stunning views of the old mine site. The exhibition also tells the story of the immense restoration project that is returning the mine site to its natural state.
