Designing for Discovery
Ballona Wetlands is an extraordinary place: a complex ecological treasure in the heart of the city.
Storyline was tasked to imagine the visitor experience for a new interpretive center. The design enables visitors to explore the complex ecological web of the wetlands through hands-on play and discovery.
When realized, our hope is that the exploration will lead visitors far beyond the Ballona Wetlands, ultimately back to their own homes and communities, newly deputized to sow positive change in their own “back yards.”
