Martime Gallery
For more than two decades, the Harbor History Museum has been documenting, conserving and restoring the Shenandoah – a purse seine fishing vessel. In use for more than a century. she is an American treasure.
Now, Storyline has been selected to imagine a new gallery that presents the Shenandoah and the maritime story of Gig Harbor.
Our vision for the new gallery is to create the “Shenandoah experience.” As visitors step aboard, they will be transported to the Shenandoah at sea. The experience will be immersive and dramatic, giving a tangible sense of what it’s like to make a living from the sea.
