Courage, Resilience and Independence
The Spirit of the Cowgirl exhibition seeks to honor the lives of women who distinguished themselves for their “saddle your own horse” character and pioneering spirit in the American West. While showcasing a collection of historical artifacts, the design also includes surprising experiences for visitors. A favorite is the Wild Bronc, in which visitors of all ages take a simulated bronc ride that is captured on video and blended into old-time rodeo film footage — available for later viewing via a secure web address.
