A Resilient Thinking Challenge
Shortly before San Diego Gas & Electric moved into a new state-of-the-art climate hazard response center, they invited Storyline to create an educational space, primarily for high school students.
Our goal was to shape an experience that is engaging from start to finish. Using SDGE initiatives as its interpretive “lens,” we created the Resilience Zone – an experiential challenge – all about resilient thinking.
Students are briefed in the “Think Tank” immersive theater before forming into teams. Each team then takes on a series of interactive games in three “Challenge Labs.” Games include Black Out, a touchscreen interactive where the goal is to figure out what caused the blackout and how to get the power back on. And Plan of Attack – a strategic thinking game in which teams must respond to an extreme hazard like wildfire.
