Where Childhood Disease is Cured
Seattle Children’s mission is to “provide hope, care and cures to help every child live the healthiest and most fulfilling life possible.”
“Building Cure” is the latest step in Seattle Children’s quest to revolutionize pediatric medicine. Inside this remarkable new facility, immunotherapy treatments for childhood cancers are turned from laboratory experiment to clinical practice for hundreds of children from around the world.
Set into the facade of the new building are four transparent display cases – a perfect opportunity to let people know about the remarkable story that is taking place within.
The challenge for Storyline was to tell a powerful, complex and sometimes sensitive story in just four showcases. The solution was a simple, recurring visual attractor – a set of large illuminated test tubes. Each display tells a different story conveyed through a simple, eye-catching graphic panel.
